What's your survival number?
Most calculators run forward: book this many sessions, keep this much. This one runs backward. Tell it the take-home you need and what your practice costs to run, and it tells you how full your week has to be to break even and to hit your number, taxes included.
This works backward from the life you need to the week it takes. Break-even is where your sessions cover overhead with nothing left over; the target adds the take-home you entered, plus the taxes you'll owe on it (figured the same way as the tax estimator, so it ties out with your Snapshot). That's within the 25 clinical hours a week you have, so the number is reachable. A no-show or late cancel is a slot that earns nothing, so it's counted against you here. A rough estimate; confirm with your CPA, especially if you're an S-corp or have other household income. See your whole picture, taxes and cash included, in the full Snapshot.
That is one answer, roughly. The full solo Snapshot runs your whole picture exactly: taxes, owner pay, cash, and your real hourly rate. One time, $39, and never a monthly fee.
